Tax free – reinvestment of profit into share capital
As of 1 January 2013, companies are not obliged to pay tax on profit which is reinvested into the share capital.
Use of the tax relief is possible only for the profit registered in the share capital and realised in the tax period for which the tax return is submitted. Tax relief cannot be applied for the profit realised by financial institutions. Tax relief can be applied by decreasing corporate profit tax (“CPT”) base for the amount of profit used for share capital increase upon submission of the CPT Return.
By August 6 you can request the tax debt write off
On 26 April 2013 the Croatian Parliament adopted the Law on Collection of the Tax Debt of Individuals.
The Law enables individuals to request write off of the penalty interest and to repay the tax debt principal in instalments at the interest rate of 4.5% per annum.Reprogramming of the tax debt principal is granted in monthly instalments depending on the amount of the tax debt.
