TPA Horwath was a silver sponsor of the Seventh Annual International Conference on the Real Estate Market in Croatia which was held on the 14th and 15th of April 2011 in The Regent Esplanade hotel in Zagreb. The conference was organized by Filipović Business Advisory ltd. company. The conference dealt with a variety of topics, such as projects in developing stage and future prospects for Croatian and regional real estate market, gathering together various experts: developers, investors, bankers, lawyers, architects, economists, consultants and agents.  Edo Tuk, partner in TPA Horwath, participated in the conference as a speaker on the panel Real Estate Financing and Financing Conditions of Commercial Real Estate Projects’ Development. The panel discussed the situation regarding financing of commercial real estate projects in relation to last year, types of commercial projects interesting to banks for financing, the most common obstacles for the financing of commercial real estate projects and real estate financing in Croatia and related tax implications.
