On September 20th 2011, TPA Horwath Zagreb hosted a seminar on audit. The invitees were companies liable to statutory audit. The speakers at the seminar were Sonja Hecker Tafra and Bariša Primorac, Executive Directors, as well as Edo Tuk, Partner at TPA Horwath. As a professional with a 15-year-experience in audit, Ms. Hecker Tafra moderated the discussion and answered many questions that invitees had regarding audit. Here are some of the covered topics: who can perform audit, what is audit report, what are the types of audit report, what are the obligations of the companies liable to statutory audit and what changes will apply to audit when Croatia enters the EU.

All the topics were covered with best practice examples, explanations and documentation.

The purpose of the seminar was to introduce the audit process directly to the companies liable to statutory audit. TPA Horwath will be hosting another seminar of the sort in the spring 2012.
